Kris Hulbert grew up in Western New York and when he moved to LA he found a passion in storytelling and filmmaking. In 2008, he made his first horror film called the 'Perfect House'. Through his journey of creating and trying to distribute the film he learned many lessons. These lessons tie into how Gratwick was born.
Gratwick Productions was formed to capitalize on the tailwinds driving the creator economy and in response to existing challenges creators have in commercializing their projects. The overall vision is to evolve the entertainment business into a more ethical, inclusive and financially efficient industry.
