The company

Bob Kramich, Founder and CEO

Bob Kramich was building Blockchain Made Easy: a platform to make blockchain adoption practical for businesses that had been watching from the sidelines. The timing was right, the product was differentiated, and Bob understood the opportunity. What he needed was the structure, the materials, and the compliance infrastructure to bring it to investors in a form they could act on.

The challenge

The challenge

2020 was a complicated year to raise in digital assets. The space was still earning its credibility with serious investors, and the bar for presentation was higher than most founders expected. A pitch deck was not enough. Investors needed a data room they could trust, projections they could interrogate, a disclosure document that held up, and an organized process they could follow from expression of interest to executed subscription.

BEASY needed a partner who could handle all of it. Not a lawyer, not a banker, not a consultant. A firm that understood both the capital markets requirements and the operational work of running a clean raise start to finish.

What Deal Box built

What Deal Box built

Phase one built the package from the ground up: a diligence data room with encryption, watermarking, and granular access controls; a five-year pro forma financial model built with Bob's team; an investor deck and investment brief; a Private Placement Memorandum; and a subscription book.

Phase two launched the offering and ran the compliance infrastructure: a company-branded investor portal, a press release to industry media, an announcement to the Deal Box investor list at the issuer's direction, and the full investor onboarding workflow, including the verification step and cap table management.

The raise ran through completion. The equity transfer that closed BEASY's round was processed through Vertalo as transfer agent, with Deal Box coordinating the workflow from investor signature through settlement.

The outcome

The outcome

BEASY completed the raise. More important than the capital, Bob left with a clear picture of how to position the company for the next stage, built on the same foundation Deal Box put in place at the start.

That is what the quote describes. Deal Box was not a vendor that produced documents and disappeared. It was the operating partner for the raise, from first draft through final equity transfer.

“Deal Box was the most important partner for completing our raise and understanding how to best position our company for the future.”
Bob KramichFounder and CEO, BEASY
